Contract-to-cash · Dispute resolution · Marketplace

Turning 7.4 million Kenyan MSMEs from invisible-to-credit to legible-and-bankable — through a WhatsApp-native contract-to-cash rail anchored by a dispute resolution layer that closes the trust loop.

Unified product surfaces: Handshake, Haki, BoxCommerce

01 · The product

One platform. Three surfaces. One conversation thread.

Phase 1Handshake· Mkataba AI

A WhatsApp-native contract-to-cash rail. Inside one conversation thread: sign a legally enforceable contract, generate an invoice, receive a KRA eTIMS tax receipt, trigger an M-Pesa payment, confirm the close. Each transaction event creates structured data that contributes to the user's financial identity.

An MSME with 24 months of active use holds a richer, more verifiable financial record than most formal-sector businesses carry anywhere.

Phase 2Haki· Right, Justice

Dispute resolution. When a contract breaks down, Haki opens the dispute case directly from the Handshake conversation thread — same user, same identity, same evidentiary record. AI-assisted intake, adjudication intelligence trained on patterns from Phase 1, escalation pathways to formal arbitration where required.

The transition from contract to dispute is a designed UX moment, not a handoff to a separate platform.

Phase 3BoxCommerce· Project Kuinua

The marketplace surface. Where Handshake and Haki provide the rails, BoxCommerce is the consumer-and-supplier surface — making the jua kali, mama mboga, and broader informal-trade economy transactable on those rails.

Kuinua means "to lift up" in Swahili — the upward mobility layer of the MSME stack.
